Eight steps for air compressor maintenance
- Go to the site of the customer unit, start the unit to see if the unit is running normally, and stop it for maintenance after normal pre-rotation.
- Stop the machine, cut off the power, and start maintenance of the unit according to the principle of first difficulty and then easy, take out all the parts that need to be replaced, compare the sizes, and after confirming the same, start to disassemble the parts and screws of the unit for replacement.
- Built-in oil separator core, make sure that the cushion on the oil separator cover is cleaned, add lubricating oil, put the oil separator core in place, replace the oil separator cover, and tighten the screws diagonally.
- The oil filter must be tightened with an oil filter wrench to ensure no dripping or oil leakage.
- Wipe the air filter housing quickly, install a clean air filter, and tighten it.
- After making sure that the left and right screws are tightened, check again.
- Turn on the power, turn on the machine for a test run, observe the oil level, and check whether there is air leakage or oil leakage at each pipeline interface.
- The overall test run for 10-20 minutes, after ensuring that the unit is normal, clean up the oil and accessories and leave.
The new unit of the screw air compressor generally runs for 500-1000 hours to replace the oil filter and lubricating oil. The purpose is very simple, to remove impurities such as iron filings in the new unit and ensure the normal running-in of the unit. In the future, depending on the environment, replace it every 2500-3500 hours, lubricating oil and air filter, oil filter, and oil separator core. If the environment is relatively clean, the time can be extended appropriately; if the environment is poor, the time can be shortened appropriately.
In the maintenance of air compressors, the quality of accessories is the most critical. The quality of accessories directly affects the operation of the unit. It is recommended that you choose accessories with stable quality; products that are too low have no quality assurance, resulting in oil shortage and high temperature damage to the bearings. In severe cases, the host computer will be scrapped.
