How to calculate and simulate the performance of an air compressor station?
Based on the potential energy costs in the future, the ocean of energy-saving potential can be compared with investment costs, and the investment utilization ratio and capital return rate (investment payback period) can be calculated. Table 2 shows the simulation based on the detected data (the data provided in Table 2 is an example from practice). The rightmost column in the table represents the energy cost forecast data for one year, indicating that the cost of the plant in the air compressor station for one year is 171103 euros.

After accurate analysis of different characteristic parameters and working data of the air compressor station, a feasible energy-saving optimization plan has been developed, as shown in Table 3. In this energy-saving optimization plan, the No.1 air compressor adopts an air compressor with adjustable speed, and its adjustment function has the highest priority level. This new air compressor configuration scheme has been validated through simulation software. The simulated data makes the changes brought about by the new air compressor configuration plan very clear.
